The Lamar PowerUp project started as a design challenge between the groups of Mr. Cemer's Electronics class, in which students were to design a green source of energy for Lamar's students' laptops. As Project Manager of my group, we brainstormed and designed the sketches and eventual drafts of the winning design. Once chosen by the administrators, we began ordering materials and constructing the PowerUp Solar Charging Table.

          Below are picture taken periodically throughout the construction process, as well as the final product. The PowerUp Charging Station has recently been completed, having been installed on April 10th. It is fully functional and has seen heavy use since.
